yo man Looks familiar but I don't remember it.

Secret NERDBASE Rock n Rule

yo man That's pretty much what a snapping turtle's attitude is like.

yo man The Transformers animation was like a comic book come to life. But the vision of the animators was way ahead of the technology available. Their camera angle concepts and motion would have benefited greatly with CGI, but in that case we would have lost the draw-by-hand talent we saw in the 1980s. It's easier to achieve the tracking shots with a CGI technology than the painstaking by hand animation. Also their use of light by overexposing lasers shots, fire, and digital displays helped sell the sci-fi aspect of this genre. On an early season Simpsons DVD commentary they noted how the animation kinda sucked until they ordered something cool like guys on speed bikes slam dunking basketballs. Later when Futurama came around they used CGI tech and still retained that appearance of hand drawn animation. I think a Transformers reboot would work from the latter point: CGI for smooth tracking, camera angles, clean animation, but would need to retain the look and feel of the original cartoon as appearing to be hand drawn and photographed. What I didn't like about the Transformers live-action films were how overly detailed the autobots looked, too many parts and pieces were distracting. It was overkill. Some of that stuff should have been smoothed down. A new transformers film or tv show needs to look closer to the original.

yo man Yeah, it's a carom billiards table.
