yo man A lot of movies like this didn't make sense until I saw what AI can do recently. AI that the public has access to gets so much wrong. AI is like a lot of dreams, it's a mash up of the world that does and doesn't make sense. Where idiocracy begins to make sense is if you consider the dumb AI took over society. People just exist in a mess. Clothes are made for them, people have meaningless jobs, the world is a joke because the machines took over and nobody cares. Mike Judge has always said stupid people shouldn't breed, but that's not it. It's just hyper laziness coupled with ignorance. The AI will run society and it'll be bad.
