I just got a notice that service member tuition assistance will be canceled when Congress fails to pass a budget soon. I went to and graduated college first, then joined the military and used those paychecks to pay off all my student loans and debt. I've seen so many soldiers join strictly for the college money and nothing else, then get disappointed when things like this happen. I joined strictly for the warfighting training expecting anything else to be just extra gravy and have not been disappointed except when they offer assignments and missions that get canceled. And that's the secret, to not give a fuck.

Cellular communications blackout? Didn't notice. I use Patriot Mobile. They use the same towers as AT&T and Verizon. Sooooo... there you have it. Also, I'm hearing that it was a solar flare, that hit ONLY the United States, mostly Texas, at 2:45AM, when that side of Earth is away from the sun. Hmm. And never mind that only last week a warning went out about a Russian nuclear space weapon. The same guy that leaked that info then immediately turned around and try to downplay it by blaming the media for hyping unsubstantiated rumors. That's like an arsonist who calls 911 about their own fire. I'm not accusing or theorizing about the cause of all this, I'm just consolidating and summarizing the observations. Mainly speaking, a big event happens but the narrative is screwed up and details from earlier are forgotten and not taking into consideration.
