Can you imagine being present for the 80th anniversary of an event you took part of? The last remaining living veterans of the D-Day landing invasion, there are 164, are between 97-100 years old. To be 17, 18, 19, 20 years old, part of the biggest battle ever, the largest armada the world has ever seen, the most recognized event in world history, and to come back 80 years after it happened. To put it perspective for most of us that's like saying I'll be back 80 years after my high school graduation. And here these boys were, just out of high school, if they even went to high school, assaulting the deadliest beach fortification, and to come back 80 years later.
