AI will never be as cool as a Jon Berkey sci fi art. He threw in some randomness, but it made more sense than random AI errors. Jon Berkey sci-fi art, to me, is like a dream: a little bit of familiarity, a little bit of illogic, a little bit fantansy, but overall fun. AI art is like a messed up dream, it starts out appearing logical at first glance but quickly falls apart into horrer the longer you get into it.
Just do an image search of "Jon Berkey sci fi art" and be prepared to be amazed.
