Another Pleasant Valley Sunday, charcoal burning everywhere
I remember very early '90s I saw one of the last B-52's with the tail gun like the 3rd image at an air show. It was the one with the Statue of Liberty on the tail.
There's a grain of truth in this meme, if the following backstory is totally fictional, the fact is I read about this in a recently published book I found at B&N, which I did not purchase and I did not write the title or book author down and the book disappeared when I returned days later to get the info. The story goes in regards to "Men In Black" of all the alleged encounters over the years, no one has been able to catch one or hard document one (photo, video, audio, collect a piece of material, etc). Maybe the only audio of these guys was through telephone. The legend goes that these MIB or aliens can read minds, so even if you think you've got UFO/alien proof but haven't talked about it with anyone and if it's good enough proof, the MIB will show up, unexpectedly, catch you off guard, even more so than the Spanish Inquisition, and dissuade you from going public or discussing further your UFO/alien encounter/experience/research. Even people in their own homes have found themselves at a disadvantage when the MIB visit. So, to try to entrap the MIB, someone organized a grassroots campaign to try to use mental telepathy en masse to contact MIB and provoke an encounter. It didn't work the way they wanted and the person was told (I can't remember how, by telephone maybe) to basically stop it. Whether that's real or not, the story does exist in print media.
