It's best to not get my opinion or judgement on something before that first cup.
The two sweetest words in the English language: "vacation."
Let's see if a Rumble video will embed and play here and how long it will last. (Pleasant Valley Sunday by The Monkees) https://rumble.com/v4t071z-the-monkees-pleasant-valley-sunday-original-video-hq.html
If written today the title would be Pop Tarts and Red Bull.
OP-ED time.

Hawk Tuah: Observations. ***You've been warned***
⚠
1. Why this one goes super viral? It's what she said, how she said it, and the timing. June seems to be ripe for virals, it's after Memorial Day, summer has started, people are looking for distractions.
⚠
2. The situation. Downtown Nashville, at night, probably weekend (but it's summer now, so any night maybe), YouTubers Tim & Dee take their camera and microphone downtown to ask young women various sexual questions. Downtown Nashville is wild at night. Over a year of doing this, nothing has gone viral, yet.
⚠
3. The subjects. Hawk Tuah girl and her friend. Both show signs of intoxication, one more than the other and has a blue tongue. The friend seems more focused and coherent. Hawk Tuah can't stand still for more than 5 seconds and frequently wanders off. Friend drags Hawk Tuah back to answer the question creating the quote heard round the world. Friend tells the guy several times he must post that.
⚠
4. So, who's responsible here? Adult chooses to go downtown and get drunk. Friend knows she's a loose cannon, a wild card and gets her to comment then tells them to publish it. YouTubers down there asking sexually charged questions of intoxicated females. Choices versus exploitation versus your friend encouraging it. Then there's the city that creates such an environment.
⚠
5. Failed to go viral. Skimming through several other videos, there's a lot of crazy and desperate girls trying hard to be the next shock viral meme star. Girls flashing, tonguing, sex gestures, and crazy talk. Can't get famous. Hawk Tuah girl, not even trying, attention span of a goldfish, friend pulls her over "answer this question" ... "Hawk Tuah! spit on that thang! ya get me!" Cut. Print. "Post it." Goes viral like the moon landing, the whole planet has stopped rotating.
⚠
Context means a lot. They weren't just set up on a random street asking people "hey, say something." No, this was a targeted area. Let's go record drunk girls downtown and ask them sexually charged questions. So, for anyone asking, "why would someone say that on camera?" you know now. Why did I do a deep dive? Because it won't go away. ☢
