Scrolling to the bottom of my downloads folder to scrounge up some memes I haven't posted in a long time and I find I keep downloading the same stuff every so often, probably because I either forgot I had it or couldn't find it.

Took me a few minutes to find this one, I knew I had it saved. Damn kitten escapes the house tonight and climbs the evergreen tree so high up I had to get on the roof to get her down. Quite an ordeal and if that isn't enough excitement for one night she got out and tried to do it again.

There was a scientist who had finally perfected the art of cloning. And being a person who was a loner very much absorbed in his work he decided to make a clone of himself to handle all the mundane tasks. Well, it worked well. He no longer had to go out and get the groceries, mow the lawn, and all the other little things that took him away from his work in the lab. Unfortunately, the clone developed a very bad habit: he learned to swear and was constantly doing it all over town. Of course, everyone thought it really was the scientist and he was getting a very bad reputation. He'd spoken to the clone about it numerous times, but to no avail. One night they got into a very serious argument and it ended up in a fist fight. He punched the clone very hard and the clone fell down the stairs and was killed. Just then the cops broke down the door and arrested him. Of course, naturally he protested, he told the cops they can't arrest him for murder, since it wasn't really a person, it just a clone that he created in the lab. Whereupon the cops told him, “We're not arresting you for murder, you're under arrest for making an obscene clone fall.”
